At Transportation Advisors, we pride ourselves on offering real people—not just systems—to help our clients navigate DOT compliance. For many of those clients, Mark Rodriquez is the voice on the other end of the line—answering questions, clarifying complex regulations, and guiding them through everything from onboarding to audits.
As the overseer of daily operations, Mark plays a vital role in supporting clients with all aspects of DOT compliance. Whether he’s reviewing paperwork, walking someone through new-hire processing, or explaining how to properly read ELD data, his mission is the same: to make the complicated clear.
“I see myself as an extension of each client’s team,” Mark says. “They call me for answers—but more importantly, they call me for understanding.”
Mark started his journey with Transportation Advisors as a Safety Analyst I, and through hard work, curiosity, and a drive to serve, he quickly rose through the ranks. His background in management with Wakefern Foods gave him a strong foundation in safety and operations, but it was his passion for teaching and empowering others that made him a standout in the compliance world.
He’s especially proud of his contributions to MYDOTDocs.com, the company’s digital recordkeeping portal. While not part of the initial development, Mark became a key player in its growth and evolution, offering insight and innovation to make the tool more intuitive and impactful for clients.
Mark has worked with a wide range of transportation providers—including motorcoach, school bus, limo, black car, and trucking operations. No matter the size or sector, his goal is always the same: helping each client move forward with confidence.
“When a company checks the box to get a DOT number, they’re essentially signing off on 1,000+ pages of federal regulations,” he explains. “It’s easy to check a box—but incredibly complex to understand what that really means. That’s where we come in.”
From assisting with audits to coaching clients on safety strategy, Mark’s depth of knowledge and approachable style make him a trusted resource. And when he’s not buried in FMCSA rules or jumping on a Zoom to help a client? You’ll find him with his family or serving at his local church—two of his biggest sources of joy.
Married for 14 years and the proud father of five children (ages 12, 9, 6, 3, and 9 months), Mark values reliability, connection, and faith—in both his personal and professional life.
“My coworkers would say I’m someone they can count on—not just for answers, but as a person,” he says. “That’s something I’m proud of.”
Like so many of the businesses in our industry, Mark is a second-generation leader in the making—and we could not be more proud.
