Program helps transportation providers evaluate compliance practices and document their commitment to duty of care
Charlotte, NC – October 6, 2026 — GNet and Transportation Advisors announce a partnership to provide professional compliance audits for transportation providers within the GNet network. The program is designed to help operators evaluate their practices, identify areas needing attention, and demonstrate their commitment to duty of care to clients and transportation partners.
Through the partnership, GNet endorses the audit program, with audit services delivered by Transportation Advisors. The initiative is intended for GNet transportation providers of all fleet sizes and brings Transportation Advisors’ compliance expertise to participating operators.
The program is available now and offers an in-depth compliance audit similar to an FMCSA The program is available now and offers a compliance audit similar to an FMCSA investigation, but with a more in-depth review of an operator’s compliance practices. Operators who pass the audit receive certification issued by Transportation Advisors, helping them demonstrate their commitment to duty of care to clients and transportation partners.
Operators who pass the audit receive a certificate from Transportation Advisors valid for one year, which they can include in responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) to demonstrate their commitment to duty of care. Certified GNet users also receive a badge displayed next to their online GNet profile: gold for interstate operators and blue for intrastate operators. These credentials help clients and transportation partners make informed decisions when selecting a provider.
“Operators work hard to earn the confidence of their clients and transportation partners,” said Tom Holden, CEO of Transportation Advisors. “This program gives them a practical way to take a closer look at their compliance practices, address areas needing attention, and document the work behind that commitment.”
“We approached Tom Holden about developing this program because we wanted to give GNet users a meaningful way to demonstrate their commitment to compliance and duty of care,” said Amir Zafar, co-founder and CEO of GRiDD Technologies. “Tom’s experience as an operator and the expertise of Transportation Advisors made them a natural partner. We’re proud to endorse a program that helps operators document their practices and gives transportation buyers greater confidence in the providers they choose.”
“We have been audited plenty of times. This audit by Transportation Advisors was different. It went looking for the gaps instead of taking our word for it, and that is exactly why these badges mean something.
It identified an area we needed to strengthen: our drug and alcohol policy. We were testing and had a written program in place, but FMCSA and Clearinghouse requirements had evolved and our policy had not fully evolved with them. We corrected it and brought the program up to the current standard. I would much rather find a gap through this process than have a DOT investigator, an attorney, or an incident expose it later.
We all talk about safety and duty of care in this industry. The real question is whether you can prove what you say you are doing. That is what this certification provides. A documented, third-party verification.
When I hand these credentials to an insurance underwriter or a corporate client, I am not asking them to take my word for it either. Our Blue and Gold badges are displayed on our GNet Connect profiles, making that certification visible to clients and transportation partners. Our team earned these badges, and that is what makes them worth having.”
