For many Transportation Advisors clients, Brittney Holden is a familiar face. In fact, she was there from the very beginning.
Brittney first entered the transportation and compliance world in 2018 when she joined Rose Chauffeured Transportation as Regulatory Consultant. When Tom Holden began building Transportation Advisors in 2019, it only made sense for her to help launch the company alongside him. After taking some time away to care for her grandmother and focus on her growing dog breeding business, Brittney has returned to the team, bringing with her the same dedication, straightforward approach, and passion for helping clients succeed.
Today, Brittney works closely with operators across the motorcoach, school bus, trucking, and black car industries, helping them stay on top of the regulations that keep their businesses moving safely and compliantly. Much of her work centers on driver qualification files and helping companies understand exactly what is required to keep drivers compliant and ready for the road.
When asked what she wishes more people understood about DOT compliance, her answer is refreshingly simple: the regulations are generally black and white. Rather than looking for ways around them, she believes it’s far easier—and far safer—to follow them correctly from the start.
That practical mindset carries into everything she does. Clients can expect honesty, quality work, and someone who won’t cut corners. One piece of advice that has stayed with her throughout her career is, “Do it right the first time.”
Her coworkers would probably tell you that Brittney is known for two things: making sure the team has great food for lunch and reminding everyone that her name is spelled Brittney—not Brittany.
Outside of work, her world revolves around family and animals. She enjoys spending time with her two sons, cheering them on at their sporting events, relaxing with her husband, and attending dog shows. She’s also deeply involved in breeding French Bulldogs and mentoring newer breeders as they build their own programs.
As for the essentials? Coffee is a must—caramel lattes, specifically. She prefers an office desk over a mobile workspace, and while she’s usually an early-to-bed person, she admits she’s not always an early-to-sleep person.
